When I'm not sitting in newsrooms, writing breaking news stories or chasing the next beat, you can find me exploring historic heritage locations, giving a voice to the local anthropological and social narratives.

I'm a Travel, Culture and Business Journalist who has also written as a Tech Journalist

My passion is in storytelling, whether that be through the written word or in front of a camera. One of my recent projects involved the production and hosting of a documentary for the 'University of Cambridge' (Meet Cambridge), regarding the Meetings Industry. In my previous positions, I have worked as a journalist, magazine editor and communications consultant.

While Journalism has been a lifelong passion, I also thrive in Corporate Communication roles where I contribute to promoting and enhancing a company's image.

I graduated from Kingston University London with a BA (Hons) in Journalism. At Kingston, I held the title of Deputy Editor; looking after a team of 30 reporters at 'The River', Kingston University's Award-Winning newspaper which won The Guardian Student Media Award.

While living in London, I travelled the length and breadth of the country, exploring museums, art galleries, quaint villages and castles; taking in the history and culture of the country, which further enhanced my cultural perspective and personal narrative which developed as a consequence of having lived in three different countries.

My personal achievements include being the youngest ever female to have climbed up Nanga Parbat 'The Killer Mountain' Base Camp (One of the Three toughest mountains to climb in the world). After going through two back-to-back knee surgeries and moving to another country while still on crutches, I headed out to climb England's highest peak a year after recovery. On my off days, you can find me curled up with a good non-fiction book, planning a travel itinerary or going for horseriding.

My goal for the upcoming year is to cover stories of even greater impact for some of the top publications, contributing to ethical and informative primary research, and filling informational gaps in the publishing news and features space. I'm currently learning about digital marketing and AI to upskill my capabilities aligning with the requirement of cutting-edge corporate communication best practices.
